Brodie and his friends who grew up and served in the marines with are coming home missus one, their friend Matt. They come home to quite the surprise. Their town was hit by a tornado and is gone. The only two farms left are Brodie’s family ranch and Matt’s family ranch. After talking to his family and Matt’s little sister Danica they agree to try and merge the two ranches. Danica was just a little girl in pigtails when her brother and Brodie left. Now she is a grown woman. A woman Brodie finds himself unable to resist. Danica has always had a crush on Brodie and now here he is looking even better than before. Brodie has lots of guilt over the way he feels about his best friend’s little sister. How long will he be able to ignore the way he feels? What will he do if Danica begins to take matters into her own hands and comes onto him? This book was a great read. Danica and Brodie are great characters. Both are dealing with the loss of Matt in some of the same ways and some different ways. This book is funny, emotional, and so much more. All the characters in this book are going through so much. From the loss of Matt to the loss of their town and then finally the loss of everything they own. There is a great bunch of characters in this book and I can’t wait to read more about them. I read book two first and wasn’t too confused so they don’t have to be read in order. I love Em’s books and I can’t wait to read more of them in future.Product details

Kickin Up Dust is a book that you can't put down. It has sex that makes you drool, the love you thought you left behind and the friends to help you rebuild after disaster has struck. I read this book as and ARC and would recommend it to all adults.
Loved it !!! great story and characters !! Sexy and emotional. Can't wait to read more of the series about the other characters in this book!!

devastated by a tornado. Helping to rebuild in the community, his ranch, plus refinancing his best friend's sister what a hot combo.
This one has been a heart wringer, right from the start. This is my first Em Petrova book, but reading the long lists of treasures to choose from has me smiling from ear-to-ear! I'm betting there isn't a sad ending waiting in the whole stack - in fact, I'm counting on it! Come join me and see what you think.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. It is book 1 in the new series Operation Cowboy and is a stand alone book with a HEA. Brodie is coming home after serving his country but not as he expected. Matt his CO and best friend did not make it. Now he has to bring Matts stuff to his family. Danica Is Matts little sister but now she is all grown up. This is their wonderful story. I recommend to all romance lovers. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
Loved this book and couldn't put it down until I finished . To me, it was a departure from Ms. Petrova's usual work and the fact that it was I contemporary prior military man romance . I really like the way she in the fallen comrade and best friend if Brody who was also the brother of his love Danica . Plenty of romance , sex , sex , friendship and community . I like this side of her writing and hope there are additional books in this series for the friends . I laughed and occasionally sniffled my way through this sexy book

Brodie and his buddies have just returned from a tour and he is bringing back the possessions of his friend Matt, who didn't make it to his family. What they didn't expect was to see there town gone from a tornado. When Brodie goes to return the possessions, he doesn't expect to find Matt's little sister all grown up. After Brodie talks to Danica, they decide to talk to their parents about combining ranches in hopes of saving them. When his buddies come to visit, he finds out they have been helping clean up the town and surrounding areas. Read on to find out if Danica and Brodie can save their ranches and rebuild their town.
